Mural painted for a private residence in Olema, CA. 1997
Mural size approximately 7 feet by 7 feet
Acrylic house paint on out door bird cage.

Painted in collaboration with Anandamayi Arnold
The mural is a bird shed disguised as a view of Sleeping Beauty's castle, protected by plants that grow right around the bird shed (blackberry, bay trees....).  This was the first mural that Anandamayi and I painted together. (Anandamayi is in the photo with the deer) Though it has been over four years in its outdoor location experiencing sun and weather, it still looks good.
I painted the stone gargoyles, as they tend to be my specialty, and did the aged stone wall.  We included a loggerhead shrike in the picture, which was a bird that frequently visited us while we painted.
